I’ve been a holistic therapist since 2007 having enjoyed various treatments and yoga classes around the world on my travels and whilst at university. My passion since then was to share with others how self care can make you feel so much better in body and mind.
Since going on a long fertility journey and having three children, my treatments and offerings have evolved to support local women and families, who, like me, realise there is not always a lot of information or guidance on infertility or post natal care, especially if you have a caesarean.
I treat people holistically depending on what they require and can offer a range of treatments from my clinic in Finchampstead, Wokingham including massage, reflexology, cesarean scar therapy, reiki, hypopressives and yoga.
Having been on a long fertility journey for 5 years before going through IVF and going on to have three children, I went on to work with local couples, since 2016, on their own path to parenthood offering fertility reflexology and massage as well as looking at lifestyle to get people into their optimum state for fertility.
I offer pregnancy treatments including reflexology, massage and yoga and many local women return for treatments when they are pregnant again which is testament to the quality of care I give throughout their pregnancy.
I support post natal women with new mum massages and reflexology, post natal yoga and now cesarean scar massage therapy. After my third child was born via caesarean, I was offered no post surgery care. I just thought if I left the scar alone, it would heal much better. I am amazed how wrong I was on this and am really excited to be able to support others who either recently had their caesarean surgery, or have had years of symptoms such as numbness, pulling, scar tissue, postural issues, overhang issues or emotional attachment issues with their scar. I am proud to have been trained through Restore Scar Therapy.
I teach hypopressives to support anyone with pelvic floor and core dysfunction or for those wishing to future proof their pelvic floor. Classes are taught one to one or in small online groups. This is a wonderful technique that supports the pelvic floor and core so much more than kegals and crunches and more people should be talking about and sharing this whole body system.
Practising yoga for over 25 years, I have experienced a number of styles such as Iyengar, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hot yoga, Nidra, restorative and more recently Shadow yoga to name but a few. These are all forms of Hatha yoga and I draw on all my experiences with these styles in my classes.
I am passionate about sharing the benefits of yoga with anyone who wants to either try it for the first time or continue on their yogic pathway. Yoga really is for everybody, no matter what your age, body type, flexibility or strength.
I offer one-to-one classes run from my home clinic either in person or online to suit your requirement and experience. I am also now partnering with charity ‘Sport in Mind’ to deliver post natal yoga to mum’s and babies in Finchamsptead and Bracknell. Please visit https://www.sportinmind.org/mum-and-baby-timetables for details.
I am also now teaching Pregnancy Yoga in Woodley through Sport in Mind.
I have supported local community groups such as Brownies and Girl Guides who are looking to teach their young people about Wellbeing.
